Where Abir fits in every guide

Each FX Recap guide passes five people before it goes live, and every one of them is named on the page. Abir handles step 1, the writing. Writes every FX Recap guide and checks each figure against primary sources while drafting.

About Abir

Abir Khan writes FX Recap's guides and broker reviews. He is the first step in our five-step check, and he treats it as the most important one: if a number is wrong at the draft stage, everything after it has to catch it, so he checks as he writes.

He studied at the Aviation and Aerospace University, Bangladesh (AAUB). An unexpected route into financial writing, perhaps, but aviation teaches that small errors have large consequences, and Abir brings that pre-flight-checklist care to every data point, licence claim and broker statistic.

Each draft is built from primary sources: regulator registers and filings, broker legal documents and fee pages, and central bank publications. Afterwards our fact-checker re-verifies the figures, our analyst adds the market view, a trader reviews the guide and it is approved before going live.

He pays most attention to the details traders act on, such as licences, fees and withdrawal conditions, and he keeps them current when brokers change their terms. Clear writing matters to him as much as accuracy: verified information only helps if a reader can follow it.

In financial content accuracy is not optional, it is the foundation. A single wrong figure or misquoted rule can cost a trader real money, so every claim gets checked and every source verified before a guide moves on.

Editorial standards

Everything Abir works on follows FX Recap's editorial policy.

  • Primary sources first. Figures and claims come from regulator registers, broker documents and official data, not from aggregator sites.
  • Editorially independent. No partnership or affiliate deal changes what Abir writes or how a broker comes out.
  • Re-checked. Broker details and regulatory status are checked again when conditions change, not only at first publication.
  • Full disclosure. Affiliate and commercial relationships are disclosed on the page where they apply.
