About Tanbir

Tanbir Habib Riyad is the forex and crypto analyst at FX Recap. Each guide we publish carries his market analysis: what central banks, data and capital flows mean for a pair, and which levels matter on the chart.

His academic path gives him an unusual edge. A B-Pharm from the University of Development Alternative (2004 to 2008) grounded him in data interpretation and research method. Later, International Migrations and Ethnic Relations at Malmö University (2010 to 2014) deepened his grasp of global economics, cross-border finance and the human factors that move markets.

Before joining FX Recap he spent over eight years analysing forex markets, reviewing trading platforms and writing financial content for fintech and trading publications. Readers know his work for being technically rigorous and still easy to follow.

What drives him is the belief that good financial journalism protects traders. Too much of what is online is either surface-level or quietly shaped by affiliate money, so his aim is analysis he would want to read himself: honest, thorough and focused on what matters to a trader.

Forex is not just charts and numbers. It is geopolitics, central bank policy, trader psychology and global capital flows all at once. My job is to cut through the noise and explain what is happening and why it matters for your positions.
