Can I open a Fusion Markets account from my country?

Is it legal for me to trade with this broker?

Two things decide whether you can trade: the broker must accept your country, and your own country's law must allow you to trade with a foreign broker. A broker accepting you does not make it legal where you live, so check both.

Your country

Ontario (Canada) is also excluded.

Is Fusion Markets safe? It depends on where you live

What does a regulator actually do?

A regulator licenses brokers and supervises how they treat clients. Top-tier regulators such as the FCA (UK), ASIC (Australia) and CySEC (EU) set strict rules on client money, leverage and complaints; offshore regulators set lighter ones. Most brokers run several companies, and the one named in your client agreement decides which rules protect you. Negative balance protection means you cannot lose more than the money in your account.

Fusion Markets uses different companies for different clients, and the one you join decides your regulator. Pick your region:

Fusion Markets International

Securities Dealer SD096
Leverage
Up to 1:500 on forex and metals
  • Client money in segregated trust accounts at National Australia Bank
  • Negative balance protection, except in Mongolia, Türkiye, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam and China

Fusion's pages name no compensation scheme. Founded in November 2017 and trading since June 2019, Fusion says it is 50% owned by an institutional FX broker. Check the company named in your client agreement.

Fusion Markets fees: what one trade costs

SELL (bid) 1.08500 BUY (ask) 1.08512 1.2 pips The gap is the spread: the cost of opening the trade 1 pip = 0.0001 ≈ $10 on one standard lot of EUR/USD · example prices
What are spreads and pips?

The spread is the gap between the buy and sell price, and it is the main cost on accounts without commission. A pip is the fourth decimal on most currency pairs (0.0001); on one standard lot of EUR/USD, 1 pip is worth about $10. Raw and ECN accounts have tighter spreads but add a fixed commission per lot, so always compare the total cost.

Zero charges $2.25 per lot per side on raw spreads; Classic adds about 0.9 pips to the spread and charges no commission. Slide to your size for EUR/USD.

Classic · about 0.92 pips$9.20
Zero · 0.01 pips avg + $4.50 round turn$4.60

Uses Fusion's average EUR/USD spread (1–5 June 2026), Classic's roughly 0.9-pip mark-up, $10 per pip per standard lot and Zero's $4.50 round-turn commission. Live spreads float. Swaps are extra on positions held overnight.

"From" spreads are best-case, so live costs at those brokers are usually higher than shown; "average" and "typical" are the brokers' own published averages. Swaps are not included. Fusion Markets swaps and the Islamic account

Mon swap × 1 Tue swap × 1 Wed swap × 3 Thu swap × 1 Fri swap × 1 Each night your trade stays open past rollover, you pay or earn a swap Wednesday covers Saturday and Sunday · swap-free accounts remove this interest
What is a swap fee?

A swap is interest you pay or earn when you keep a trade open past the daily rollover, because a currency trade borrows one currency to buy another. Many brokers charge three days on Wednesday to cover the weekend. An Islamic or swap-free account removes this interest, sometimes with a fixed admin fee instead.

What is a lot, and what is a cent account?

A standard lot is 100,000 units of currency, a mini lot 10,000 and a micro lot 1,000. A cent account shows your balance in cents, so you can trade very small sizes while you learn. Standard accounts usually cost more in spread; raw accounts cost less in spread but charge commission.

How do leverage, margin call and stop out work?

Leverage lets you open a bigger position with less money: at 1:100, $100 controls $10,000. It multiplies losses exactly as much as profits. Margin is the money held to keep a trade open; at the margin call level you are warned, and at the stop out level the broker starts closing your trades. Most beginners are safer with low leverage.

Fusion Markets bonuses and promotions

Can I withdraw a deposit bonus?

A deposit bonus is usually trading credit, not cash. It adds margin to your account, but you cannot withdraw it, only the profits you make, and often only after trading a set volume. Read the terms before you accept one.

Fusion Markets offers no deposit bonus. Refer a Friend pays up to $500 per referral, split between you and your friend, or up to 15% lower commission; the invitation-only Premium Program pays rebates from 15.11%. Example: a friend deposits $500 and you each get $50; at $5,000 you each get $250, paid within 24 hours of meeting the trading requirement.

Our verdict on Fusion Markets

Fusion Markets is a low-cost choice for active traders: $4.50 a round turn on the Zero account, no minimum deposit, no Fusion payment fees, fast 24/7 withdrawals and all four major platforms. It is less suited to traders who want top-tier protection outside Australia, since international clients join the Seychelles or Vanuatu company, or to anyone needing an affordable swap-free account. Indian residents should note Fusion's place on the RBI Alert List.
