About Jowel
Jowel Rana is an active forex trader at FX Recap with over 20 years in currency markets, by his own account. He has traded through several market cycles, including the post-COVID volatility and the rate-hike era, and brings that experience to every guide he reviews.
His studies at Dhaka College (2009 to 2015) built the structured thinking he applies to trading and editing. Long before content became his job he was at the charts: reading price action, managing risk with real money and building the instinct that only years of practice give.
At FX Recap he is the trader in our five-step check. Each guide reaches him after the writing, market analysis and fact-check; he reads it as someone who trades, flags anything that would not work in a live market, and only then passes it on for approval. He also contributes market recaps, currency pair breakdowns and broker evaluations.
