Exness vs IUX
Exness is built around low costs, very high leverage and automated withdrawals, with no fees for inactive accounts. IUX is an MT5-only broker with a $30 minimum deposit, no deposit or withdrawal fees and leverage up to 1:3000, licensed by the FSC in Mauritius. The better fit depends on where you live, how often you trade and which company would hold your account.
Quick Answer
| Best for | Winner | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Starting small | Exness | Set by the payment method on Standard against $30 |
| MetaTrader 4 | Exness | IUX is MT5 only |
A “winner” here means the better published figure on that one line. It is not a recommendation: the right broker depends on where you live and how you trade.

Regulation and Safety
Exness’s companies hold licences from 11 regulators, but its FCA and CySEC companies don’t serve retail clients. Individual traders are served by offshore companies such as Exness (SC) Ltd in Seychelles. Exness does not serve residents of the USA, Canada, the EU or the UK.
IUX Markets (MU) Ltd holds an Investment Dealer licence from the FSC in Mauritius and operates iux.com. A related Australian company holds an ASIC licence but does not serve clients through the site. IUX is a member of The Financial Commission and resets negative balances to zero.
Neither broker holds a top-tier licence such as the FCA’s or ASIC’s for the clients it serves internationally, and neither offers a government-backed compensation scheme. Keep deposits proportionate and check which company your client agreement names.
Trading Costs
On commission-free accounts, Exness lists: Standard from 0.2 pips (EUR/USD average 0.8). IUX lists: Standard from 0.2 pips; Pro from 0.1 pips. “From” figures are minimums, so expect wider live spreads, especially around news.
Both offer a raw-spread account. Exness: Raw Spread from 0.0 pips plus up to $3.50 per side. IUX: Raw from 0.0 pips plus $7 per lot. For frequent traders, a raw account usually costs less per trade than a spread-only one.
Exness lists no inactivity fee. IUX lists no inactivity fee. Withdrawal fees: Exness: none from Exness; IUX: none from IUX.
Platforms and Copy Trading
Exness offers MT4, MT5, Exness Terminal and Exness Trade app. IUX offers MT5, IUX Trade App and IUX WebTerminal.
Exness has no copy trading service of its own (closed on 25 June 2026). IUX has no copy trading service of its own (none of its own (third-party Myfxbook AutoTrade)). Copying another trader doesn’t remove risk: you can lose money as fast as trading yourself.
Leverage
Exness’s maximum leverage: unlimited for eligible accounts, otherwise up to 1:2000. IUX’s: 1:3000 (cut to 1:400 around high-impact news).
A higher maximum is not an advantage in itself. Leverage multiplies losses as fast as gains, so beginners should use far less than either broker allows.
Which One Should You Choose?
Go with Exness if:
- You want raw-spread accounts and no inactivity fee
- Fast, automated withdrawals matter to you
- You are comfortable with offshore regulation
Go with IUX if:
- You want a low-cost MT5 account from $30
- You want no deposit or withdrawal fees
- You live in one of the countries IUX serves
Whichever you choose, test a small withdrawal early, verify your account before you need your money, and risk only what you can afford to lose.
