About Jannatul
Jannatul Ferdaush is the fact-checker and risk analyst at FX Recap. If you have ever wondered whether a broker is safe to trade with, her work is what to read: she checks the details most traders never look at before they deposit.
She studied Applied Statistics at the University of Dhaka (2010 to 2015), where she learned to love numbers and the patterns in them, and later Applied Economics and Social Sciences at BRAC University. Statistics plus economics turned out to be the right mix for explaining risk in a way everyday traders can use.
Before FX Recap she spent years in risk analysis and compliance at financial institutions, with hands-on work in customer due diligence and fraud detection, and a clear view of how regulations work in practice (and where they fall short).
Here she signs off the facts in every guide and review: licences against regulator registers, fees and conditions against broker documents, figures against official data. She also writes risk lessons in plain language, because leverage, position sizing and stop-losses should not feel intimidating to a beginner.
Too many new traders lose money to brokers they never should have trusted. My job is to look at what most people overlook: the fine print, the regulatory gaps, the hidden fees. If that helps one person avoid a bad broker, it was a good day at work.
