RoboForex is an offshore broker with a $10 minimum deposit, raw-spread accounts, more than 12,000 instruments on its own platform and a built-in copy trading service. Elev8 is a new brand, launched in 2026, with commission-free and swap-free accounts from $25, leverage up to 1:1000 and a 50% bonus on deposits. The better fit depends on where you live, how often you trade and which company would hold your account.
Quick Answer
| Best for | Winner | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Starting small | RoboForex | $10 against $25 |
| Raw-spread account | RoboForex | Elev8 has no raw-spread account |
| No inactivity fee | RoboForex | Elev8: $5 a month after a full year without trading |
A “winner” here means the better published figure on that one line. It is not a recommendation: the right broker depends on where you live and how you trade.

Regulation and Safety
RoboForex Ltd is registered with the FSC in Belize, an offshore regulator. It adds private protections: category A membership of The Financial Commission, whose Compensation Fund covers up to €20,000 per case, civil liability insurance of up to €2,500,000, and negative balance protection.
Elev8 launched as a brand in 2026; the companies behind it have operated since 2022. They hold offshore licences from the FSC in Mauritius, the FSA in Seychelles and the MISA in the Comoros. Elev8 says it keeps client funds in segregated accounts and offers negative balance protection. Its site names no compensation scheme.
Neither broker holds a top-tier licence such as the FCA’s or ASIC’s for the clients it serves internationally, and neither offers a government-backed compensation scheme. Keep deposits proportionate and check which company your client agreement names.
Trading Costs
On commission-free accounts, RoboForex lists: Pro and ProCent from 1.3 pips. Elev8 lists: From 0.6 pips, no commission. “From” figures are minimums, so expect wider live spreads, especially around news.
Only RoboForex offers a raw-spread account: ECN and Prime from 0 pips plus a commission per $1 million traded. Elev8 is spread-only, which is simpler but usually costs more per trade for frequent traders.
RoboForex lists no inactivity fee. Elev8’s inactivity fee: $5 a month after a full year without trading. Withdrawal fees: RoboForex: by method (for example Skrill 1%, cards up to 2.6% + $1.30); first withdrawal free on three Tuesdays a month; Elev8: none from Elev8.
Platforms and Copy Trading
RoboForex offers MT4, MT5 and R StocksTrader. Elev8 offers MT4, MT5 and Elev8Trader.
RoboForex’s copy trading: Copy Trading Service (formerly CopyFX), from $100. Elev8’s copy trading: Copy trading with Master Traders (0.2-pip service mark-up). Copying another trader doesn’t remove risk: you can lose money as fast as trading yourself.
Leverage
RoboForex’s maximum leverage: 1:2000 on Pro and ProCent; 1:500 on ECN; 1:300 on Prime. Elev8’s: 1:1000 (crypto 1:200).
A higher maximum is not an advantage in itself. Leverage multiplies losses as fast as gains, so beginners should use far less than either broker allows.
Which One Should You Choose?
Go with RoboForex if:
