RoboForex is an offshore broker with a $10 minimum deposit, raw-spread accounts, more than 12,000 instruments on its own platform and a built-in copy trading service. IUX is an MT5-only broker with a $30 minimum deposit, no deposit or withdrawal fees and leverage up to 1:3000, licensed by the FSC in Mauritius. The better fit depends on where you live, how often you trade and which company would hold your account.
Quick Answer
| Best for | Winner | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Starting small | RoboForex | $10 against $30 |
| Copy trading | RoboForex | IUX: None of its own (third-party Myfxbook AutoTrade) |
| MetaTrader 4 | RoboForex | IUX is MT5 only |
A “winner” here means the better published figure on that one line. It is not a recommendation: the right broker depends on where you live and how you trade.

Regulation and Safety
RoboForex Ltd is registered with the FSC in Belize, an offshore regulator. It adds private protections: category A membership of The Financial Commission, whose Compensation Fund covers up to €20,000 per case, civil liability insurance of up to €2,500,000, and negative balance protection.
IUX Markets (MU) Ltd holds an Investment Dealer licence from the FSC in Mauritius and operates iux.com. A related Australian company holds an ASIC licence but does not serve clients through the site. IUX is a member of The Financial Commission and resets negative balances to zero.
Neither broker holds a top-tier licence such as the FCA’s or ASIC’s for the clients it serves internationally, and neither offers a government-backed compensation scheme. Keep deposits proportionate and check which company your client agreement names.
Trading Costs
On commission-free accounts, RoboForex lists: Pro and ProCent from 1.3 pips. IUX lists: Standard from 0.2 pips; Pro from 0.1 pips. “From” figures are minimums, so expect wider live spreads, especially around news.
Both offer a raw-spread account. RoboForex: ECN and Prime from 0 pips plus a commission per $1 million traded. IUX: Raw from 0.0 pips plus $7 per lot. For frequent traders, a raw account usually costs less per trade than a spread-only one.
RoboForex lists no inactivity fee. IUX lists no inactivity fee. Withdrawal fees: RoboForex: by method (for example Skrill 1%, cards up to 2.6% + $1.30); first withdrawal free on three Tuesdays a month; IUX: none from IUX.
Platforms and Copy Trading
RoboForex offers MT4, MT5 and R StocksTrader. IUX offers MT5, IUX Trade App and IUX WebTerminal.
RoboForex’s copy trading: Copy Trading Service (formerly CopyFX), from $100. IUX has no copy trading service of its own (none of its own (third-party Myfxbook AutoTrade)). Copying another trader doesn’t remove risk: you can lose money as fast as trading yourself.
Leverage
RoboForex’s maximum leverage: 1:2000 on Pro and ProCent; 1:500 on ECN; 1:300 on Prime. IUX’s: 1:3000 (cut to 1:400 around high-impact news).
A higher maximum is not an advantage in itself. Leverage multiplies losses as fast as gains, so beginners should use far less than either broker allows.
Which One Should You Choose?
Go with RoboForex if:
- You want to start from $10, including on a cent account

- You want no deposit or withdrawal fees
- You live in one of the countries IUX serves
Whichever you choose, test a small withdrawal early, verify your account before you need your money, and risk only what you can afford to lose.
