IUX is an MT5-only broker with a $30 minimum deposit, no deposit or withdrawal fees and leverage up to 1:3000, licensed by the FSC in Mauritius. Elev8 is a new brand, launched in 2026, with commission-free and swap-free accounts from $25, leverage up to 1:1000 and a 50% bonus on deposits. The better fit depends on where you live, how often you trade and which company would hold your account.
Quick Answer
| Best for | Winner | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Starting small | Elev8 | $25 against $30 |
| Raw-spread account | IUX | Elev8 has no raw-spread account |
| No inactivity fee | IUX | Elev8: $5 a month after a full year without trading |
| Copy trading | Elev8 | IUX: None of its own (third-party Myfxbook AutoTrade) |
| MetaTrader 4 | Elev8 | IUX is MT5 only |
A “winner” here means the better published figure on that one line. It is not a recommendation: the right broker depends on where you live and how you trade.

Regulation and Safety
IUX Markets (MU) Ltd holds an Investment Dealer licence from the FSC in Mauritius and operates iux.com. A related Australian company holds an ASIC licence but does not serve clients through the site. IUX is a member of The Financial Commission and resets negative balances to zero.
Elev8 launched as a brand in 2026; the companies behind it have operated since 2022. They hold offshore licences from the FSC in Mauritius, the FSA in Seychelles and the MISA in the Comoros. Elev8 says it keeps client funds in segregated accounts and offers negative balance protection. Its site names no compensation scheme.
Neither broker holds a top-tier licence such as the FCA’s or ASIC’s for the clients it serves internationally, and neither offers a government-backed compensation scheme. Keep deposits proportionate and check which company your client agreement names.
Trading Costs
On commission-free accounts, IUX lists: Standard from 0.2 pips; Pro from 0.1 pips. Elev8 lists: From 0.6 pips, no commission. “From” figures are minimums, so expect wider live spreads, especially around news.
Only IUX offers a raw-spread account: Raw from 0.0 pips plus $7 per lot. Elev8 is spread-only, which is simpler but usually costs more per trade for frequent traders.
IUX lists no inactivity fee. Elev8’s inactivity fee: $5 a month after a full year without trading. Withdrawal fees: IUX: none from IUX; Elev8: none from Elev8.
Platforms and Copy Trading
IUX offers MT5, IUX Trade App and IUX WebTerminal. Elev8 offers MT4, MT5 and Elev8Trader.
IUX has no copy trading service of its own (none of its own (third-party Myfxbook AutoTrade)). Elev8’s copy trading: Copy trading with Master Traders (0.2-pip service mark-up). Copying another trader doesn’t remove risk: you can lose money as fast as trading yourself.
Leverage
IUX’s maximum leverage: 1:3000 (cut to 1:400 around high-impact news). Elev8’s: 1:1000 (crypto 1:200).
A higher maximum is not an advantage in itself. Leverage multiplies losses as fast as gains, so beginners should use far less than either broker allows.
Which One Should You Choose?
Go with IUX if:
- You want a low-cost MT5 account from $30
- You want no deposit or withdrawal fees
- You live in one of the countries IUX serves
Go with Elev8 if:
- You want commission-free, swap-free trading from $25
- You want a deposit bonus
- You accept a new brand with offshore licences only
Whichever you choose, test a small withdrawal early, verify your account before you need your money, and risk only what you can afford to lose.
